Candle & Car Freshener Making Workshop at Beguiled Books

Join Lauren - the scent sorceress and maker behind Slow Burn Handmade Candles - for a cozy, hands-on crafting experience at Beguiled Books. You’ll create your own custom-scented candle and a custom car freshener. This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves beautiful scents, DIY projects, or simply wants a relaxing, creative break surrounded by books and good company.

• Date/Time: Sunday, May 17th from 12-2pm (please arrive at 11:45am for check-in)
• Location: Beguiled Books(109 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104)
• Class Size: 10 participants + 1 instructor
• Price: $65/person

Class Format:

11:45am: Please arrive early to check in and get settled before we start at 12pm

12:00 PM: Welcome & Scent Selection

We’ll kick things off by exploring fragrance options and choosing your custom blends. You’ll prep your candle vessel and label while we talk through the basics of candle making.

12:45 PM: Candle Making

Once your scent is ready, you’ll pour your candle. We’ll aim to have all candles poured by 1pm so they have time to cure before the end of class.

1:00 PM: Car Freshener Making

While your candle cures, you’ll create your car freshener using the same - or a new - scent blend. This is a fun, quick project that pairs perfectly with your candle.

1:30 PM: Shopping & Browsing Time

With both projects complete and your candle finishing its cure, enjoy some relaxed time browsing and shopping at Beguiled Books with you 10% discount coupon!

2:00 PM: Wrap‑Up

Your candle will be ready to take home, along with your freshly made car freshener.
